Our Savior Lutheran

An Overview

Our Savior Lutheran Church exists to call persons into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to move them to be active disciples in the congregation, and equip them to be effective and efficient witnesses for Christ, to each other, and to the world around them.   To view our Mission Statement, click here.

Since the dedication of our church in 1967, Our Savior has grown steadily in its membership and ministry.   With the guidance of our present pastor Rev. Philip McLain, we continue to reach out with the Gospel and loving service to meet the needs of our members, our community, and the world.

Lutherans are the oldest and largest historical body of Protestant Christianity in the world numbering over 75 million members worldwide, with over 8 million in the United States.   Our congregation belongs to the body of Lutherans known as the Missouri Synod, which consists of about 3 million members in the United States and conducts missions in more than 25 foreign countries.   In 1997, the Synod celebrated its 150th anniversary of mission and ministry for the Lord.
